Blizzard can you explain why you were lazy on booster gear by giving Dwarf Hunters a bow instead of a Gun…Dwarf Hunters have gun racial we get with gun that gives us a bit more power in our shots.

When was it ever said the boost gear would be correct and optimal for your spec and class.
It was not.
You got a weapon you could use. This is ALL they said you would get. They never said you would get the optimal weapon to match your race.
In fact if they where trying to give optimal gear there would be VASTLY bigger issues than you losing a vary minor amount of dps since you got the wrong type of gun that only effects one race. Every hybird has a mix of gear from all specs as such for example druids start with a ton of caster gear as a feral 2/3 about to be exact. As such losing a VASTLY larger amount of stats. Hell if they they wanted to give you optimal gear not a SINGLE item mets that def for ANY class or spec of ALL boosts, as such not sure where you remotely got the idea.
They where not lazy, the boost is NOT made to give you good equipment it is only meant to give you a vary crappy gear set and your level. It is INTENTFULLY made to be a bad gear set not a optimal gear set.

Not having the extra point of crit isn’t going to make or break your boosted toon. If it bothers you that much, then make a bit of gold and buy an Outland gun on the AH.
Just buy a Dwarven Hand Cannon.
Boosted war has like 7 pieces of stam gear lol.
To me, boost gear is like… they find a naked man, take him to a thrift shop, and tell him that he has 5 minutes to get clothes/gear and check out.

the only lazy person here is the dwarf who keeps his green boosted gear withotu trying to upgrade it
Sad, goes to show you how little they care and makes me glad I’m not buying a boost. There is one at 63 from engineering called fel iron musket. Maybe you could try to get one of those.
Some of my gear had only spirit.
Some had agility and stam.
And some had spell power.

I had replaced several pieces of the boosted gear within an hour of starting. I replaced even more over the first weekend as I got to 60. Within about 3 hours of the portal opening, I’d replaced the last of the gear and gotten my new pet to 60 with me.
Replacing that crap did not take long, was not difficult, and was pretty cheap. The only way to tell that I boosted that toon now is if someone asks for my /played, and it won’t be long before that’s in line with a non-boosted toon, too.
The gear is meant to be just enough so that you’re toon isn’t naked, but also should be replaced by literally any other piece you find for the same slot.
yes they were really lazy with the stuff they did with the boost, they did not even pay attention to what they were giving to the people and at the same time, the gear is so bad and easy to replace anyway that whining about it is kinda useless
The boosted gear is pretty horrific by design.
Bows & crossbows are much easier on the ears than big bang gun.
