At this point, I’m hoping they both get happily married with children and play golf together on weekends. Looking forward to desperate shippers writing fanfic about ‘passion on the 19th green’. And when Anduin dies and Wrathion is still a child, he can be sworn to watch and protect Anduin’s heirs.
Idk every medium has to have CONSTANT romances these days. No one can just be friends. They MUST be in love. Two male friends? Nope, they are gay. Boy and Girl? Classic lovers. Crazy thought, they are just Bros, even if one of them were gay.

To be fair it’s an existing D&D trope that Dragons come out of the egg with all the knowledge and temperament they’ll ever need. I’m pretty sure WoW operates on the same principle. Wrathion already had an adult’s mind the moment he came out of that egg.
Child prodigies also have adult minds. Yet, they’re still children.

You do know it is possible for 2 guys to be friends and go an adventures right, there doesnt always have to be ro ance involved, friendship does exist in WoW
