Wrath was the beginning of the end. There was plenty to like about it but it didnt live up to its predecessors.

Its simple to group if you dont have a job and you have all day to sit in your moms basement and spam LFG chanel.
Most people do come back at the start of a new expansion. Unlike the ones before though, this one didn’t hold the player base for nearly as long.
This may or may not help you but I’m from Faerlina and the crappy LFG tool has helped. I can’t find certain dungeons in LFG chat but the tool did help me and there were surprisingly a lot of listings. Off hours a bit less as you may expect.
It ain’t perfect but you could give it a shot if you haven’t. I decided to try it last week lol.
My opinion of TBCC was also wanting changes because I already knew for a fact that Rogues we’re gonna ruin arenas, racials we’re gonna be an issue in PvP, no dual spec was going to suck big time, so on and so forth.
Don’t care about Vanilla, I avoid it because Vanilla PvP is pure garbage to me.
So no, my opinion didn’t change since then regarding #somechanges.

RDF brings convenience and removes class bias. Positives outweigh the negatives imo. Struggling to find a group because you want that “living community feeling” is really not so great.

Making your own group removes it as well. And has added conveniences of its own.
First of all, in Classic era and TBCC from my personal experience, I barely see any social interaction other than a couple of things and thats it, I could say the same in OG classic and OG TBC.
Second of all, you can be an a**hat in Battlegrounds right now in TBCC, I can literally troll an entire Arathi basin game and somehow not be hold accountable by my server, Battlegrounds have the same functionality as Dungeon finder, its Cross realm.
You know someone that is black listed on your server? because even if you hold them accountable, they can get away from accountability via paying a transfer off the server they are black listed in.

no one talks in groups/game right now so your point is? RFD didn’t do this…PEOPLE did.
the only people i can think of that are against RFD is boosters who fear they will lose their jobs (you won’t) and those that are gate keepers who enjoy watching people suffer b/c that’s what gets them off.
i am willing to risk ninja looters and bad pills just to actually do some dungeons tbh. it’s better than sitting in LFG for hours on end trying to get a group in the sea of non-stop booster/gdkp spam: that is the worst of the worst if you ask me.
