Think we will see a massive shift towards Alliance come WOTLK? Really no reason to play Horde in Wrath since Alliance is clearly the better faction. If Classic has been any indication, Horde pop will drop at least a little…
You doomers keep assuming the vast majority of people will reroll to fit the expansion’s meta. This is so disconnected from reality.
People are already predicting a massive shift towards Horde for TBC. Could be true for PvP servers.
I had so much more fun playing Horde during WotLK. On Alleria, which was a heavily Alliance-favored server. The PvE content is easy enough that you can do it with a smaller player pool, and PvP to me is always more fun when outnumbered.
They haven’t even announced TBC yet, why are we worried about faction balance in wrath?
Lmao, of course. It never fails. Do you really think it’s not going to happen. Really?
I know this is unexpected but Alliance is actually still good in TBC, and the human racial is easily as good as will of the forsaken, in some ways better.
The human racial in wrath EMH was given as a nerf to Perception. I know, it’s a shocker but it’s the facts, basically because Tom Chilton hated alliance in pvp and couldn’t win in any other way so he rigged the game so he could win.
AKA cheating by changing the rules and stacking the deck.
PvP meta will favor Alliance, though I expect the Horde to still come out on top in PvE while still having a solid PvP population itself. Balance overall should be leagues better than what a lot of people are imagining for TBC though.
Alliance is actually better off in TBC regarding PvP. It was PvE where horde has a light edge for TBC due to better racials. And that PvE advantage isn’t enough to reroll for 99.9% of the players
Aight, so in private servers they literally tried everything to make people roll on Alliance for TBC. They gave free talent changes, they added seal of blood to draenei paladins, they tried to limit the ratio 45 to 55% so you had to wait in line to log in if you were on the more populated faction. And guess what happened in the end? Players still preferred Horde.
Wouldn’t know. Won’t be in WotLK. Since I play both factions that’ll be a null effect on the “server balance.”
EMFH didn’t exist til Wrath. Perception is still the active racial in BC. The only buff was to The Human Spirit.
Correct
Correct, and perception in Arena is very very very very powerful because of Druids and Rogues who are very much dependent on the use of stealth.
Perception (on use) was removed because of massive QQ from the horde.
I dlike take a sec to tell you that your character look really nice with is purple hat and he look like someone who would tell u nice things
I’m gonna assume the player base of Classic is way more casual than the typical pserver player. Plus, assuming they let us continue the same characters, most people won’t want to re-level and will just play what they have.
yeah, look at how people rage at the suggestion that we get fresh servers and people don’t get to move their characters into BC. And then you think people won’t be playing those characters
Horde is bis for pve in wotlk.
For pvp it’s a bit of a toss up, the lower tier players sway towards human. The higher tier towards horde.
I’m not even thinking about faction balance in TBC since TBC is still not even announced and we don’t know what the faction balance will be like there. Of all concerns this is a strange one but maybe more will go back for WotLK? I played both alliance and horde in that expansion. I did like that expansion though.
Now that TBC’s about to be announced let’s talk about wotlk.
i’ll be playin alliance… i played horde in vanilla so tbc and wotlk will be a new experience for me… thou i will level a BE too simply cuz i love that race but won’t main him
