I met with the Chromie to do the Wrath of the Lich King. I have the Dalaran Hearthstone. I am unable to set the Hearthstone to the WotLK. It will only take me to the Legion Dalaran.
Is there a way to set the Dalaran Hearthstone for WotLK so I can set my regular hearthstone for inns in the area I’m questing?
Dalaran Hearthstone is only for legion version
You can buy a ring at the jewelcrafter in wotlk dalaran though that can teleport you to wotlk dalaran

you can set your hearthstone to Dalaran when you get there.

Which Dalaran? So far when I go to the WotLK Dalaran and go into the alliance inn, it sets my regular Hearthstone to the inn, not the Dalaran Hearthstone.

LOL. Ok, so I have been fighting this for long enough that I am trying to “Lynch” someone.
I, personally, think that this is a major screw up by Blizzard for not allowing the Dalaran Hearthstone to work if you are in the WotLK timeline.

It’s specifically set to Legion. The best way to get to old Dal is thru the portals in Org. or Stormwind, or set your hearth there.
It will say Crystalsong Forest when you are in old Dal.
That purple stone comes in handy; I use it as my main hearth for three expacs now.

It’s not so much a screw up as it is kind of unclear to players who weren’t there when that Hearthstone was new.
“Dalaran Hearthstone” is specific to Legion content. It’s not an alternate Hearthstone that you can change, it’s just a shortcut to Legion content.
Similarly, the Garrison Hearthstone is just a shortcut to WoD content.
Maybe they would have been better off calling these something other than Hearthstones to future-proof them. Idk.
