From what I understand there will be no change to the 58 boost and the restrictions of it will remain. You should still be able to claim the rewards from an innkeeper without any issues.
Time to take off and complain about how the servers are packed all day. Launch day forums will be on fire lmao.

I use it myself sometimes on retail when I want to complete every zone in an expansion before I move on…
50% boost is not going to last the entire expansion by the way…it’s only up until launch day.
Fresh server players , like my self , are going to have to level through Vanilla and TBC just to get ready for launch ( which I am looking forward to honestly) but having that extra xp will help.
Late WotLK, Cata & MoP was the point where the game had been out for some time (since 2004), and a lot of long-time player burnout/cancellations were also happening. I myself canceled during MoP due to franchise fatigue, coupled with my dislike of the general satirical Disney-like theme of MoP (mini-games, goofy panda race, alcoholic monk class, etc.).
Every xpac is “Eye of the Beholder” & you know what they say about opinions. WotLK was popular due to the general theme & faceroll easy “casual-friendly” mass-appeal gameplay, more than anything else. I personally liked (& disliked) both WotLK & Cata for various different reasons.

This has been the case for BFA and Shadowlands. They release at like 9:00pm EST on the Monday of that week. This will be the third (or fourth?) time that they have used this method. It’s not new, and it’s not surprising. It’s due to their global release schedule.

They mean what they said - fresh start servers. They’re not out yet, so obviously nobody has had time to get to 70 yet.
I plan on taking time off. I’d like to know the dates so I can schedule accordingly. Yes I’m happy it’s coming. It’s not too much to ask for dates tentative or otherwise.
I’m actually really excited for this. I enlisted in the Navy near the tail end of Burning Crusade and missed a ton of expansions. I tried to jump back into WoW during Shadowlands, but it was unrecognizable and too alien. I didn’t know who any of the NPCs were, what was going on in the story, nor understood any of the game mechanics.
Jumping into WotLK for the first time feels like a breath of fresh air.

Thanks for not dropping the new expansion on us and giving us a week with new talents and new classes like you did with TBC. This feels like a better approach.

Actually if you have played WoTLK Beta, you would know that the game is complete dog**** from a PvP perspective with TONS of resists and bugs, not to mention all the broken non working abilities. Some of us just want the game to be playable first, this company is notorious for fixing things when its too late. I hope they take their time and really balance,debuff and take pride in this game and REWORK IT. But clearly people will play it either way no matter how bad it is.

I thought i would be able to freeze my characters on this rhelm. like we had to option to from 1-60. What i am hearing is that is not going to happen? so you are just going to lead us, kicking and screaming, (but i will just quit) to the disaster you have made wow into? LK was terrible, if i wanted to play it, i could of rolled a new char on retail… wow, always shooting itself… not sure if i will even enjoy this now. might as well end my subscription now. or go to a server i did not choice TBC on yet and stay 60? or go back to another game i played after wow imploded with this same line of bad decisions. It is your world to loose. many of us have no wish to follow the same line of failure you had, that made us quit before.

I am good with that date. Honestly since the beginning of TBCC I have in mind beginning of November but I won’t cry for 1 month earlier.
And for people they dont understand this date, technically beginning of November was by far the most logical date so… the realease date is correct.
