This is a straight up improvement over the tool we had pre 3.3, don’t know why people would be pissed about it, it’s silly.

Dont know why? That seems to be an intentional act of ignorance. Ppl have already said why. I just said it and you replied to it. But it seems you have a very short memory so i will remind you again. PPL WANT THE SERVERS AS THEY WERE THEN. Keep reading it over and over until you have it memorized. Then the next time you “Dont’t know why”, maybe you will refer to what you were told over and over.
If you want to say, dont know why people want the game as it was then, then it is a different discussion. But thats not what you are questioning.

No, people are mad because it’s not LFD, which we didn’t get til 3.3/ICC.
People were happy when they talked about bringing this in in TBCC instead of the garbage tool we got.

It will be forced adoption, for better or worse. Bulletin Board addon works because it scans LookingForGroup channel to populate its values (and trade chat, but mostly people advertise their groups in LFG on my server)
You cannot join the LFG channel unless you are either listing your group or listing yourself to join a group.
So since you have to use the tool to join the channel, bulletin board won’t work as is.
Some people want that, some people are fine with #somechanges
I’m sure you could find someone for any point or change you want to make to make your statement true.
Yeah they actually have no clue how it works and a bunch of false fears about features it doesn’t even have.

and how many people are actually using it though? the issue isn’t “oh it works well in beta with a couple hundred/few thousand people” but “how well will it work on a server with 20k+ people on it after the initial rush to level”

Been using the nearly same tool since WoD anyway.
It’s adapted for Wrath, but not massively changed.

No one said LFG is bad.
Yet again, I said we are mad that LFD isn’t being implemented.
Because you know, that was a feature of wrath, and not everyone has the same time as we did back then to run around to every dungeon, let alone knowing where they all are.
