Wrath IS peak WoW

was. it’s trash now lol

Strictly speaking Cata was peak … the highest recorded player numbers were recorded in the first quarter of Cata.

Wrath was a plateau. It’s the first time WoW stopped recording growth in every quarter.

Ya You’re not wrong about that I also can’t help but think 50% Of the player base having killed yog 1,0 and algallon My theory is people care more about parsing than they care about actually killing the boss.

Yeah and it’s real shame wrath Could have been so much fun but one they tried to make it too much like Vanilla And the hardcore players made it to midmaxi.

And no rdf Is equals to while everyone just raid Locking so And it’s ashamed with others wrath Could have been so fun.

I’m hoping for a Wrath Era server, instead of progressing to Cata. Perhaps Blizzard will offer a cloning service?

This is the truth. Algalon is one of the easiest bosses I’ve killed recently. People are so worried about parse that they can’t deal with 2 simple movement mechanics.

Classic parsing in general is a joke if you look at it from an outside overall MMORPG gamer. The easiest PvE in the current MMO sphere and it’s being treated like some sort of measuring contest for turbo nerds. Only reason alg kill rate is so low is that and 60% of Classic raiders are perpetually drunk

Yes, Blizz did kill TBC, and the community didn’t. There is enough support for TBC that one server is warranted.

I agree with u on that…Cata…it didn’t “feel” like WoW if that makes sense

Wotlk is when the game stagnated in gameplay and it rode the tbc hype coattails. People came to wotlk and saw easy content and assumed it was the same harder things of tbc. Wrath baby exists as a term for a reason. It wasn’t until Ulduar guilds died because it went back to Black Temple difficulty, then toc made easier content to keep the increased player population there.

Then cata hit and they went and tried to go back to classic style gameplay with hard and long dungeons, mana issues and raid mechanics started at black temple level and it was great. Sadly, the playerbase was forever tainted by the wrath babies and it lasted like that until mop when 4 difficulties emerged but LFR in cata damaged the raiding scene beyond repair.

If they do Cata, I hope they do it on a separate server and retain Wrath Era.

Cata doesn’t even feel like WoW in so many ways, although it definitely had its charm. I missed the old world though.

Vanilla is peak WOW. I don’t even understand why. It’s kind of a mediocre MMO but it was true 20 years ago and true again when they released it for Classic.

I imagine they’ll do it the same way they did classic, one free copy to either Wrath era or Cata.

Did you really think I was ever going to bother with Dragon Soul without LFR?

You understand little.

Wrath is a retail token server
