I think fresh will be very successful. You dont lose from “abandoning” your characters as you’ll be 70 in no time ready for wrath and all wrath gear is equal or a little worse than tbc raid gear

First why on earth would you be buying greens at level 58? There’s a hundred quests in hellfire that give you the same if not better gear.
Secondly that would imply that if you sold a single green you’d have enough to go buy one? So kill stuff for 15 minutes and go make 100g then?

A new player that isn’t as braindead as you sees that a single item sells for 100 gold and goes and sells a single item for 100 gold. They don’t lament about a world where green items are nearly worthless because they don’t have the frame of reference.
You’re inventing a problem that doesn’t exist. You need 5000 gold for your mount whether greens sell for 6g or 100g. A new player is quite literally better off in a more established economy. So are you but if you want to waste your own time be my guest.
