This so much this. My main has generally always been in nelf. Nelfs don’t have the best racial though I will argue wisp form and shadow meld are BiS and no one can change my mind.
Maybe instead of getting rid of racial we just make them non-combat flavor. Such as the goblin’s always exalted prices or the human’s rep gain.

It is how connected realms work though. So the tech is there and they could effectively make it a two/three/four (PvE, PvP, RP, RP-PvP) on our end.
Like we would still be spread out on different servers on their end, but where a new account gets placed could be entirely hidden on our end. Then you would just give us the better functioning AH to work as a single AH across those realms. Lift the item trade restriction that exists for cross-realm, and bam you are done.
The actual solution for name conflict is to update it to tech that’s been standard for well over a decade now, and have it be a display name and the bnet name be the unique part. There’s zero reason for it to be an issue in 2023.

A lot of the class changes have been revolving around how modern players engage with the game, which as you may or may not know is drastically different from how the game was played in OG Wrath and that’s ignoring that Naxx/Ulduar/ToC gear and bosses were never the target for the current patch.
If anything, the forums need better moderation in addition to the game. Different departments.

Rogues are fine as they are currently, neither Blind nor Faerie Fire need changes. Racials are fine too and PVP would certainly be less fun without them. Leave the game balance alone, just fix bugs and punish exploiters.
Dying realms could use a merge but merging large realms like Benediction, Faerlina, and Grobbulus is unnecessary. People have a choice between an Ally dominant realm, a Horde dominant realm, and a balanced realm with RP and WPVP; all three have a healthy population. I know most of us on Grobb would be pissed if we got merged with random non-RP-PVP realms, we’re doing just fine without that kind of tampering.

Agreed. but if we’re making changes, could we make glyph of holy form, and make smite priest real? I never wanted smite in current retail, I wanted it’s holy form back in TBC/Wrath when I played.
lol yup. Now if only they actually had a good gearing progression for fresh 80s since no one is running normal heroics, and only way to gear is to buy off AH for 5k each item, or join a GDKP.
I’d love to actually “catch up” an alt to the bottom of the raiding pack with 5-man content, and not paying gold for gear.
