The whole patch was where Blizz went all in on the ‘daily engagement metrics’ everything was about getting you to log in daily or fail behind. Raid the same boring crap in 10/25 Normal/Heroics.

So dailies are repetitive/boring, but you want unnerfed raids that were the most repetitive things in WoW. Seems like you don’t really know what you want, you just like hating on random things.
If you could only kill a boss a weak, and it wasnt engaging at all, yes, I’d have some issues.
I enjoy TBC gameplay. I enjoy not having to log in every day.
Thats not Wrath, and Trials was the tipping point. Its not complicated.
I play classic since day 1. I am on Benediction right now. If I see long queue when WoLK launchs, I would immediately quit. It is totally because of Blizzard’s poor management of the whole server situation.
Mankrik and Pagle are fine, the only danger is if PVE to PVP transfers open. That’s why I mentioned 6 not 3 in my reply.
I don’t know about the other PVE servers to speculate. If others can survive, like Atiesh, that’s great. PVP servers are a disaster with too many meta chasers who don’t care about community etc. They literally play to look at spreadsheets.
It doesn’t matter what people on PVP servers say, they weren’t going to play with you anyway. The funny thing is that the majority of them never touch PVP and only raid log anyway. The people on PVE servers leveling alts and running dungeons are probably engaging way more with the game than most of the people on “PVP servers” are.

Atiesh is looking good so far. It might be “mega” or high alliance side but it’s med pop horde side. No one I’ve talked to or in lfg chat is talking about transferring or complaining about the pop being too low to find groups. Unlike Bloodsail where transferring was a constant topic of discussion.

Pretty sure they’re going to open up PvE to PvP transfers in Wrath. After that happens, there’s a decent chance you’ll see the PvE servers start to empty as literally everybody stacks on the big four PvP servers.
Don’t see the advantage of being on a one sided PvP server. Wrath is going to be lame if they don’t force balance on some of these servers, gonna have instanced Wintergrasp? No stakes if you lose bc raid entry is set on timer instead of by who wins? Lame…
A lot of people are only on PvP servers because the best PvE guilds are there.
I very much doubt that would happen. Most pve players don’t want what they consider the hassle of wpvp. If forced to transfer to a pvp server most will pick the one that is overwhelmingly their faction to get the closest thing to a pve experience on a pvp server. I have nothing against wpvp and the people who like it. I hope blizzard finds a way to fix the pvp servers for those who want that. But most who join pve servers do so because they don’t like wpvp.

I get what you’re saying, but if all the big servers are one faction, there’s no more PvP to avoid.
I’ve been on servers losing population in both retail and classic. I know what they feel like and what people say. Almost every conversation on Bloodsail was complaints about the low population, how difficult it was to find groups, which guilds had recently transferred off, and how they were thinking about transferring too.
That just doesn’t happen on Atiesh. No one is talking about transfers to me or in lfg chat. Complaints about finding groups are rare. Why would someone who is happy on their pve server decide to transfer to a pvp, even a one faction pvp, server? Transferring to a pvp server would the very last resort before quitting for most people on pve servers. Sure, things could change. Atiesh could start losing population and a time might come where people have to choose whether to transfer or quit. But we’re no where near that point on atiesh And pve players will try to find a better pve server before transferring to a pvp server

Who cares, Wrath is not classic it’s just a poor man’s retail.
