Arena points seem to have been converted a week early causing me to loose the equivalent of over 200,000 honor points on my account. Obviously since this was a breach of contract this will be remedied quickly I can assume?

Please respond before I cancel both of my WoW subscriptions.
â The current PvP season in Wrath Classic is ending soon. The evening before weekly maintenance, at 10:00 p.m. PDT (April 15), Season 8 will end. There will be an off-season period until Season 9 goes live after Cataclysm launches.
Please note that Arena Points will be converted to Honor when patch 4.4.0 releases.â
I have been waiting for an update on this topic for 21 days. I had saved up Arena points cap and Honor Cap, and waiting for the normal discounted price for arena gear and lowered rating requirement. Like a lot of other people I was holding my breath for prepatch because we seemed to have been misinformed about this.
Blizzard needs to officially respond to this problem.

Why was there no end-of-season discount?
Why did arena points get converted to honor a week early, explicitly contradicting what was originally said, that they would be converted on pre-patch?
Why is there no communication about any of this?
Why isnât there literally one guy who can check on this stuff? Classic TBC and WotLK arena season-ends have been fumbled multiple times in different ways. Ridiculous that this is not given more attention. Whoever is responsible for managing pvp stuff is seriously dropping the ball. Maybe have an employee log into the game on Tuesdays following the end of a season to check and see if things are right?
At this point it is too late. After waiting all week for the discounts to be implemented, I figured it just wasnât going to happen, so I bought off-spec gear rather than the helm/shoulders/t2 weapon. For those kind souls who have more faith in Blizz than I do and held onto their arena points, they got double-screwed because now they cannot even purchase other wrathful gear. This is a huge shame. Itâs the end of WotLK, the last hurrah for a lot of people who were really looking forward to completing a BiS pvp set to enjoy the last two weeks of the expac. Blizz should show some compassion for these players and post a statement of commitment to doing a better job managing arena season-ends in Cata.
At least we can buy this stuff with honor next week, and have 3 weeks of using it during prepatch. However, it will be with Cata talent rework. Also, the t2 weapons go away forever, correct?

They have done rollbacks of arena points when they screwed up before, though thatâs a heavy lift. Of course, a tiny bit of looking at the community forums would have made it a proactive effort vs the reactive headless chicken result, assuming they even bother.

**If youâre reading this please report the arena points wipe as an in-game bug. It is inconsistent with the most up-to-date info posted here by Lynxy. They refuse to reply to this forum thread. Itâs possible Lynxy doesnât even work there anymore, regardless, someone else needs to take the wheel for him. Please submit a report in-game this needs to get the attention of someone who will do something.

I had six characters at various levels of gear and arena points I farmed up for months. Was looking forward to the same end of season changes as was precedent. Needless to say with 0 updates the last week the writing (or lack of writing) is on the wall. I have unsubbed.

Beyond ridiculous. But whatâs even more ridiculous is that I will keep my sub (multiple) ticking over because I am a FIEND for WoW.

I just resubbed after a break since October/23 to have some fun pvping before Cata drops. I am already not having fun and questioning my financial decisions.
