Please, quote the post in which I trolled him.

might want to try reading that again bro

“You can’t discredit my arguments, but I’m aloud to discredit yours.”

I don’t even know what you guys are talking about, but seeing that in your last few comments is a little funny to me.

Folks that don’t play alts are raid logging, so the RDF change is meaningless to them regardless. This is probably why they are having fun trolling those who actually care about running dungeons.

When it was put in the game originally has no bearing on when it would be easiest to put it into Classic. Blizzard is starting with the final build of the Original Wrath for most everything other then following raid tiers.

no one is personally attacking you tho???

Do I need to quote them?

Exactly.
It seems to me anti-RDF discussions and this decision on RDF are all about elitism-based exclusion under the disguised flag of community/sociality/friendship.

if you cant take it dont dish it out man, this is the internet, someone disagreeing with you isnt a personal attack. someone calling you out for being hypocritical isn’t a personal attack.

If you worked in software development you would understand. Nothing is easier than loading up an old build that already works. Never underestimate how lazy they are.

None of those are personal attacks.

RDF is a big deal for some players.

RDF isnt a big deal for Wrath of the Lich King content. Its the same with or without. Wrath proper doesn’t care about or require RDF. Its just a grouping tool, groups will form regardless.

Wrath the game won out over the players. Probably a good idea. The first clue that’s the best move is that it was the least popular.

Hmm… if you worked in software development you’d know that spinning up a WoW server isn’t the same as running a “hello world”

Not to mention that the version of LFD in classic would be the legion version since that’s where they branched classic from, not the wrath version. It’s very likely that the reason they aren’t enabling it is that the legion version doesn’t work right for classic and yes they are simply too lazy to make it work so they’re gas lighting it as “for the community”

wow i went to sleep when this thread was like 630 replies… suprised it’s blown up so much honestly.

Look I want RDF too, but the fact of the matter is if they don’t have to edit their build to get a result, that’s their plan. Touch nothing, no changes, only deviate if it prints more money. Adding RDF is a risk that takes development resources. They’d rather spend 0 resources and take 0 risks. We will see RDF mid-Wrath, I guarantee it. Remember this post, and remember how they lied the entire time about their motivations.

“Groups will form regardless” isn’t the same as “grouping will work well” or “players will enjoy grouping,” and it definitely doesn’t mean “groups will form readily for players who wish to group.” While it is true that Lich King content is the same whether or not players can run it, that sentiment overlooks a massive problem.

Keep in mind they created a custom LFG tool with components of the Mythic+ LFG tool that exists in retail. The nice thing about software is it is modular. I find it very hard to believe it would have been more difficult to take the RDF tool from retail and modify the list of available dungeons than it was to build the new LFG tool.

And on this part, this SJW reference in a negative connotation - Have you seen the Twitter feeds of the classic “devs” you’re cheerleading for? Just wondering…

But even there you can see the poor design decisions, they took the retail LFG Tool and made it worse…
