We just gave you examples of not finding group in our level range.
Pay attention blizzard, these people actively tell people to leave your game for another. Do you really want to listen to people that drive away customers? Thought you liked to MAKE money?
I’m on Maladath Alliance. A few days ago I sat in a group for HH for almost an hour, looking for a healer. Several dps dropped here and there along the way. So after an hour waiting and being the only one at the stone, I had to wait for another player to make that idiotic run so we could summon. And all to see nothing but the same useless rings drop. No wonder people are giving up on running that.
Another fix? Talk to people to preplan doing content for your level range, find a leveking guild, or is talking to people asking to much for an mmorpg?
Right like I said this is completely out of touch with reality.
Not having it has not in any way encouraged social interaction
LOL
LOL again, we literally have a bastardized version of a retail tool instead of a legitimate wrath tool and they’re planning to add more retail features like heroic+
i honestly wouldnt be surprised if blizzard was seeing a drop in subs. like a snowball rolling downhill slowly getting bigger and bigger. and from the way theyve been acting… it almost appears its what they want.
hes been a well known confirmed anti rdf troll for months. i just ignored him. he wont ever consider any other position because its not his position, hes getting a kick out of trolling.
you mean its not the fact that everything you do right now is pointless the Pit of saron comes out and replaces all the gear you have right now anyone who joins the game in that phase will be on par or better then what you have right now .
No one talks anyway. Unless saying where you’re going or confirming that, then mindlessly AOEing a heroic is “social”.
Kinda blown this one out of the water since pugs are looking for 3900+ GS now. A good chunk of the playerbase is partially 25 man geared already. Not having RDF didn’t slow anything down.
WOTLK feels different from retail by being itself. Its an MMORPG and not just a multiplayer video game like retail has turned into.
Yea, because Vanilla and BC Classic were sooooooooo authentic…
you assume i care about gear scores or competing with anyone. i just want to play and experience the WHOLE game with friends and maybe make some new friends along the way. i dont give two cents about power leveling to 80 or being BIS or server first. Like most people i choose to play wow to relax, hang with friends, and experience all the content. not just the quickest route to 80.
i will try this again, ive said it multiple times but feel it bears repeating.
In original wrath expansion WITH RDF, i started a guild with 4 friends. through the use of rdf, most of the members i added to the guild were through RDF interaction. some paid to transfer over, some started new characters but EVERY ONE i added to the guild through RDF came to our server. at peak of wrath the guild was over 300 members strong, some raiding like mad, some just leveling alts, some just casual folks. we followed one code… skill can be taught, attitude is forever. we showed positivity and fairness, instilled a sense of honor and made great lifelong friends. had several in game weddings with couples who met in guild who went on to marry and have kids in real life. i still talk to alot of them and my sons godfather was a member of the guild i added through RDF.
so, to me, your statement is way off base. i have friends and extended “family” all around the world BECAUSE OF RDF. people i would never have met without the cross realm dungeon finder.
False. It encourages social interaction through the fact having social connections makes grouping easier in the future.
Its a fact that it does, rdf lets you bypass lockouts, becomes the fastest way to level to reach max level to “ignore” all or most questing content in many cases, especially for tanks and healers.
And yet it feels different enough that you are crying on the forums because you dont have your favorite retail feature. Seems like its working to me.
i could say the same thing. i have meet people i would play with frequently in game purely from sitting in LFG chat and seeing a group going while in the group chatted got along still play with them till this day would never have meet them if it was not for that chat message because i would have kept questing or what ever i was doing., but that’s the point the game was the reason we meet not some tool.
they also transferred to your server not many are gonna do that
except without crossrealm rdf i would never have had the chance to meet them without putting a character on every one of the 20+ realms in my battle group. rdf made it possible to talk to them.
and i would transfer to any server that had a group i felt i clicked with and were positive players. if i was with a guild and met em i would offer them a spot with my guild or talk to my guild about us going there.
LFG has never done anything to promote that kind of social interaction in my experience. all ive gotten is ignored, denied, or abused with toxic insults about my class or character in LFG.
AND i was able to run around farming and questing while waiting, my chats happened in the dungeon NOT burning my time sitting in town watching lfg chat.
