Shocking i have alts that dont have an issue getting group too. Also shocking a class with tanks spec healing spec and a massive aoe dps spec cant get a group. Hell even cat isnt that bad.

Weird I hadn’t noticed.
An arms warrior can tank with just changing a few peices of gear.
A boomkin can heal they just have to stop to drink more often. We are talking 5 man content which is super easy.

I figured that was what you were doing. The goal post on what is gatekeeping keeps moving with them.
I didn’t say an arms warrior couldn’t tank a dungeon or a boomkin couldn’t heal one.
I said if they couldn’t perform the role the they would be kicked.
Why do you think that would fly anymore in a non RDF group than it would in one?

Cause then you can sit there for 20 minutes or more waiting for the tank or healer for rdf. While i can just note not to invite the arms tank and the boomkin healer again.
And then you can spend the next 20 minutes trying to find another person claiming to be a tank/healer.
Whereas with RDF the imposter has been kicked, we’ve requeued and are now at the top of the queue, and get a real tank/healer very quickly

Your right, you didnt say they couldnt. You just instantly assumed they couldnt when you heard their spec and said the vote kick option was rdf solution to those specs trying to perform the role of tank or healer.
You immediately went to the mindset of “i dont want that in my group i would vote kick them” aka, by your definition of the word, you would gatekeep them. So rdf doesnt fix “gatekeeping”.
So once again, you think that in a non RDF group someone would tolerate someone in a role they can’t do?
Most people in a pug won’t even check spec or gear until there is a problem. If you are arms and tanking and holding agro and healer is keeping you up it won’t ever come up.
If it does come up you’ll be kicked, RDF or no RDF.
That’s not gate keeping it’s just removing someone who cannot perform their role. Which happens regardless of RDF.

Non rdf group can tell instead of being randomly put with that person.
The LFG Tool does not show spec.
You dont need it to. its kinda like how i can tell you are a cat.
They knew that statement was bs from the start, but they needed any kind of reason to justify their decision.
Its part of what makes the world make sense though. It makes the summoning skill relevant. It takes people out into the world where they might mine or harvest stuff on the way or just not be in town all the time.
This is as much about the cohesion of the world than about gameplay.

You guys really need to look into fixing PVP with all the BOTS running rampant… check out a few of these clips I recorded. In no shape or form is any player this bad, blind or oblivious to whats happening around them.
It’s quite obvious whos a bot and whos a player… here blizz, have some proof of the BS thats going on right now in the game forcing ppl to quit and not even want to log in anymore.

I mean, i had a frost DK tank a dungeon last night and his spec was focused on damage, and he gad a few peices of tank gear.
