lol. What a joke.
Thanks for the update!
Every time I read this I get butterflies in my tummy knowing Blizzard cares enough about us to not implement RDF knowing it ruins the classic community vibe.
Yall got me excited thinking there was a new blue post, I hate you
RDF now
What vibe are you talking about? Please be very specific in your response. What specifically is ruined? How specifically is it ruined? How are YOU as an individual player harmed? How are YOU as an individual player unable to have a ‘community vibe’? How are YOU as a player no longer able to complete a dungeon?
Yeah. The shrills you guys are. Perverting what was once amazing. And spewing this muck out that looks like wrath… but certainly doesn’t smell like it. Smells like a pile of doody.
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE It got me too.
RDF ruined wow for many. Literally everything that released after RDF is bad so bad in fact; people think Legions good, do to not being as bad as everything else. The entire MMO genre in weak rn and dying due to RDF.
LOL. Alright dude. Just this stupid response. The moo man trolling. Alright, i’ll give you a pass. Cause… this response is comical.
You didn’t answer a single question I asked you, so I’m going to ask again.
Idk why the truth is so funny to you? Theirs a massive lack of new MMOs and the ones that are big are all bland copycat clones of each other and boring. RDF killed the MMO genre now they’re all lobby games.
Sounds less like an MMO problem and more of an RPG problem.
You can’t enjoy your RPG unless your shaving with a cheese grater.
That’s a personal problem.
Then you choose not to play the game. Random Dungeon Finder doesn’t spell end game. Just preps you for the end game. You still need to be social to raid - even to find a raid group or form one. In World of Warcraft - it does ZERO to the social as a whole. Unless of course you’re “that guy” and likes to chat through every pull. And most of us care not for that.
Here’s another example of what I hate about not having RDF -
Group asks - we’re getting ready to do HH, anyone want to go? - I’m thinking alright! I’ve got a solid 30 minutes and two of us are already at the stone.
Then the party lead says oh yeah if we can wait 25 minutes I’ll have someone for this role.
No HH for me until later.
MMO genre is THE MAJORITY of gaming today. MMORPG I think is what you meant, and I think you’re wrong there too.
In 2024, this game will be 20 years old. What MMORPG do you know is still going after about 18 years? In relative terms, we’re in the early years of video gaming so to speak. 20 years from now will look far different from what it looks like today, and today, roughly 18 years after wow launched.
Point is - PEOPLE killed the game, for one reason or another. I’ve spewed this before. Not some dungeon tool a lot of us like to use. Choices the developers made - the path they put the game on hurt the game in some ways, AFTER WRATH, but RDF I do not believe was one. Cata brought the huge change, RDF brought availability. Somewhere in-between you’re fixated on something, and I think you’re wrong.
There will be many that come and go in this game from here to the end. There are plenty of people who have played from vanilla, to current retail - they will play to the end. And there will be people that die-hard this classic to it’s end. It’s all good. I just wish they followed the path they set out from the beginning. And not changed classic, which to me now is a far cry from what it’s retail counterpart looked like 12 years ago.
What? This makes no sense. You can’t have an MMORPG without RPG.
This is an over-exaggeration of the most profound kind. If you’re on a mega-server you shouldn’t even be allowed to make comments against RDF.
Ever played Apex: Legends? Games like that? Those are massive multiplayer games. Albeit - sandbox 60 player games. Thats still a lot of folks battling it out on one shrinking map to the end.
Good thing I’m not on a mega server; but a medium pop RP server infested with tourists.
No you got what you came for when it comes to RDF. There was no RDF when naxx was the current raid.
