Neither can I. Retail is unplayable. I loved Wrath…but this abomination isn’t Wrath. By the way, they want to do some kind of Mythic+ type dungeon content in Wrath to keep dungeons ‘relevant’. Never mind the fact dungeon finder kept them relevant.
They really just can’t leave Wrath alone.

And that’s bad because? They get the same sub regardless of if we play retail or classic. It shouldn’t matter which one we prefer to play. Dragon flight is the first expansion I have flat out refused to pre-purchase, refused to buy the collectors edition of, and will be refusing to buy, because I have 0 interest in Dragon Flight or anything to do with modern especially since they now allow for cross faction. However, I will gladly buy a digital deluxe edition of wrath.
But by the end of wrath, if they don’t figure out how to actually listen to their community I will just be done with blizzard all together. No sense in me wasting my time and money watching them destroy a game I love.

I thought you only group with cross faction if they are on your friends list.
Honestly I have no idea how it works. I never logged in after 9.2.5 dropped. Retail guild I was in opened raiding between alliance and horde, and started coordinating Alliance and horde raiding together. At that point I was done. Never looked back. Granted, I rarely logged in much since classic came out anyways.
LFD is not what broke WoW community. Developers are the ones who did it, with their inability to understand their own community and money greed.

Honestly I don’t get the big aversion to letting horde and alliance group with each other. How many times in the story have we teamed up? Its more of a trope for us to be fighting than anything considering how many times we make up and then as soon as a new expac drops its omg gotta fight the other team now!!
We would get better stories if they just dropped the whole red v blue nonsense.

With ppl like I wont be talking WotLK classic, you are what is wrong with WoW in general trash ppl.
Following the lore, we have a longstanding history of stabbing eachother in the back, to get one up on the other. This destroy’s trust. There are also fundamentally different views and opinions between faction leaders. Yes we temporarily work together to defeat a common foe, that is destroying everything for both of us. But that’s temporary, and is not a resolution of the conflict, merely a temporary cease fire. Enemy of my enemy type of thing.

It isn’t a matter of not being able to do so, it’s a matter of how it just isn’t common. It’s awesome when make those friends, yes, but really. How often -do- you make those friends? Enough to justify taking out such a useful aspect of the game? Please consider this instead of snap-responding ‘yes’ because you are eager to disagree with me.

Put the Random Dungeon Finder (RDF) back in the game, but keep this new group creation tool for those who want to use it.
Fix the PVP Servers so that there are both factions on both, as these servers were created with the intention of having Player VS Player content, also having really diversity and social interaction, so for players who don’t like this content, but who are on these servers , that the means of transfers offered by BLIZZARD to the PVE realms are released.
This is essential!!!

Not a classic andy, nice try tho. I moved away from retail after the abomination that was Sanctum of Domination on retail. Retail has been getting worse through the years and when BC came out I decided “I’m done with retail” and switched off. TBC and soon WOTLK will be the best things to happen to WoW for quite a while.
