OK, some of us bought Celestial Steeds when they were current in Wrath. Therefore, Sparkle Ponies should be included in Wrath Classic.

Please allow those who purchased Celestial Steeds to utilize them during Wrath.

Tbh I’d find it more Blizz-like and immersive if we had to buy them again, just like we did for actual Wotlk.
No changes.

I thought they allowed people who had promotional pets originally to get them again in classic? Atleast I feel like I’ve seen them.

Then again we had to pay for the tabard through a 6 month sub.

So it’s been kind of a toss up as to how we’re regaining special or purchased items.

Possible I guess they could add the celestial steed mount as part of the Wotlk pre purchase package like they had a mount and boost for TBC.

Yeah pretty sure people with collector editions got their pets in classic, so I’m going to assume the store mounts and collector edition rewards will start to appear.

Oh Sparkle Pony, we liked you for 5 mins until we realized everybody bought it and Dalaran was full of it.

You still have those pet in the live version of WoW. You have not lost them.

To get them in Classic, assuming they add them, you will have new requirements.

It was that convenient before Mount Tab ruined everything. One bag slot meant slow riding, fast riding, slow flying, fast flying, and Northrend flying. That’s why we all got one. :wink:

won’t be surprised if it’s part of the big Frozen Throne bundle they sell similar to the dark portal pass they had for TBCC.

Something tells me in the “spirit of classic”, they won’t do store mounts. But if they do, they better redeem those who bought it already. Would make no sense to have to pay twice for the same pixels, especially when you don’t have to pay for the game for the exact same reason, you already bought it in the past.

You already have your sparkle pony on retail. This is a different game. If they do put it on here I hope they resell it.

You don’t get any damn sparkly pony if I can’t get my race change. Sparkly ponies aren’t immersive and ruin my experience.

You’ve never played a Tauren DK on a sparkling Apocalypse Pony. It is pretty epic. :wink:

I tweeted at Brian Birmingham about this and I got no reply. It makes sense, because they’re probably not going to allow old store mounts, but they certainly will have some new stupid cash shop mount. Publicly announcing that will open the floodgates of hate all over again like last time. So yeah, I wouldn’t hold your breath.

I understand you might not be able to answer this question right now, but I’m curious whether the Celestial Steed (added 3.3.3) will be in Wrath Classic and already unlocked for the people who bought it originally. I’d personally prefer to see NO Battle Net shop items in Wrath Classic, but I have strong doubts I’ll have it my way after the Warpstalker mount was added for TBC Classic. If the original late-Wrath store mount was cut from the game in the name of a more ‘Classic experience’ (which I would welcome), I think it would be a pretty grievous slap in the face to the players to then add another inauthentic 2022 Blizzard mount to the game. I really want to see an all-or-nothing approach to the spirit of Wrath on this issue. I think that old store mounts don’t belong, but not if you guys add new ones.

  2. X-52 Touring Rocket, with original function of being able to kill your friends

I don’t know how they couldn’t, since it’s the account that gets flagged for the steed and said steed would be in the data files somewhere.

I used to buy almost all of the store mounts back in the day. I never did buy the sparkle pony though. Ugly.

You bought it on retail. I have alot of stuff on retail I don’t have access to in classic that are currently in the game.
