Wrath and healing gear only rolling Intellect

In TBC and WoTLK, arcane, shadow, frost, fire, and nature’s wrath gear were possible to obtain. The same is true for +healing. As of Cata, these were changed to only roll intellect as int = SP. For some reason on pre-patch, only int items can be created or dropped from what used to be +healing or +wrath.

But it doesn’t just stop there. Even older versions of some items like +Power are now rolling lower amounts of attack power compared to the amounts prior to pre-patch. What is going on? Is this a bug?

Especially for the low level alt community, this is very impactful. How is it possible this even got into TBC? It’s a change that wasn’t intended to be there for two more xpacs.

Pretty easy.
Patching TBC onto the current game systems.

Means a lot of things that did not exist but were taken out originally have come back through. How does this happen? Rushed development, low staff and lack of testing.

Like Arthas said just not enough time spent on developing or fixing the existing bugs. More and more this is looking like it was rushed out to hit their quarterly earnings deadline.

But gotta love having the cash shop up and running with no issues. Maybe #nochanges was correct afterall.

do you have an example of an item?

Green lens only rolling intel.

Revelosh drops seem all wonky too.

i see. yep more monkeying around with trying to create TBC on shadowlands client without Omar carrying the load.

Here is an example of how a stat that still exists is now rolling lower: https://imgur.com/a/8HN4SZT

https://imgur.com/a/EJ8peYj - Green lens example. In classic they had stats (eagle, monkey, etc), but the patch classic was launched on had removed those from the pool a long time ago. This roll was not there until Cata :-/

Priorities, man.

Priorities.

Bump. Still trying to find out how things got messed up.

Green lens should only be rolling +Wrath right now, the stat lenses were removed in TBC.

Source: heavily involved in the 39 community during TBC, and stat lenses sold for a mint back then.

There is a pretty huge 39 discord that is also confused about this too. There have been tons of hotfixes, but this isn’t something to fix??

Wow, that is weird. I don’t recall any patch having those stats for those items. Where the heck did the data come from then lol.

Its a small indie company guys, give them a break.

Just another bump. lets keep this alive and hopefully get an answer.
