Wrath and Cata can co-exist, this doesn’t have to be a one way street of one or the other.
Blizzard can keep wrath so folks that wanna experience the Vanilla journey to it’s epic conclusion at Wrath so they can have that fulfillment of experiencing the old world stories, TBC Stories, WrathGate, Battle of Undercity stories within Northend . Then players can make their decision to jump on their next journey within Cata, and keeping going on there.
But Both can co-exist, I hope blizzard is listening to the outcry of the community for Wrath Era realms
You might get better results posting to Blizzard on X (formerly Twitter). Adding to the spam here when they’ve blatantly admitted they don’t read the forums is borderline useless.
Once Cata hits, the world changes. It does not matter if TBC and Wrath does not change. Vanilla does and thus it is no longer Wrath classic. It becomes RETAIL lite.
Blizzard made their terrible choice already on their crazy idea that the only content that matters is the new expansion and thus, there is no phasing, there is total change, removing the old with Cata while also now bringing Classic servers back to retail mediocrity.
Not sure what posting it here where blizzard can read and is free to delete it will help maybe reddit and twitter as Zachaios said. Not sure what other social media might work, meta-critic?
Many of them wanted zero changes and absolutely no tokens. Those folks have either fled back to private servers or have quit entirely. The ones left holding the bag for that specific content are also arguing about specifics for what they want. Some want a fresh start some want to take all their progress with them…
If they co-existed everyone would play wrath while cataclysm was deserted. Blizzard doesn’t want that. The irony is that cataclysm will be deserted regardless after a few months.
