Wrath 3.3.5 Random Dungeon Finder

We are going to be playing 3.3.5 wrath in classic. Can we keep the systems introduced in 3.3.5 wrath? I’m shocked we have to say this, but if you don’t want wrath systems then don’t play wrath. Since TBC doesn’t have it you can stay in TBC if you feel like RDF ruins the game. RDF is a wrath system, you don’t have a leg to stand on demanding for its removal.

Not only are TBC players tired of LFG spam with lightning whispers required to get into groups most are excited to move onward to wrath’s systems, but also the players who felt that TBC was too much work and waited to join classic for wrath and it’s conveniences. Taking AWAY a system from the expansion wasn’t something widely accepted by the “community”.

Spamming random people in chat to hope for an invite and summon to a dungeon where most people are silent trying to quickly finish the dungeon VS queing in RDF to be teleported to a dungeon where most people are silent trying to quickly finish the dungeon are not different from each other. The community doesn’t gain from a lack of convenience that was introduced to the patch we are playing on.

If you are pro removal of Dungeon Finder please write up a list of other wrath systems you’d like removed so we can send it up to blizzard to work on. Any other conveniences introduced into wrath you people don’t want? Dual spec too convenient for you as well?

Remember we want as many people to play as possible. We want large active servers of players and pushing away the people who waited out TBC for wrath systems of convenience is just a disservice to everyone involved. If you don’t like wrath systems don’t assume your opinion is the majority, especially when you consider all the players who skipped tbc holding out for wrath’s changes.

I honestly feel a good portion of it are for it and against it. Many people who have even played together since classic launch. Ive thought maybe they should have servers with it and without it. I don’t feel there is a right answer for it. Whatever route they choose will piss people off or potentially break up some guilds if they would feel the need to go to another server if that ended up being a option. I know i had a lot of friends who were waiting to come back in wrath classic because of RDF. Some of the people who are mid 40s with kids and a family or maybe just have a job where they dont have time to spend all day in lfg. I was not looking forward to the spamming of LFG or LFM when classic started but to me and some of my friends i know RDF would be a welcomed addition.

Even though I feel more people want RDF, even if it was a 50/50 split - Blizz would be way safer to release it WITH RDF. Anti-RDF crowd will be mildly upset but still play, while taking it away is making people incredibly upset, to the point where they’re just not going to play.

TBC Classic was released as patch 2.4 from the beginning and yet we didn’t get Guild Banks from the start of phase 1 when they were originally released on patch 2.3. This isn’t OG Wrath, this is Wrath Classic were #somechanges is the actual reality. I understand your frustration but asking to release lfd on launch when it wasn’t originally doesn’t make sense either following implementation we’ve seen.

They just want TBC version 2.

They released 2.4.3 tbc with all the last iteration changes to classes and items. Like HARP rogue spec isn’t supposed to be nerfed broken until the end of TBC but we got the unplayable version from the start.

I mean compromises like p2 is doable, everyone has to manually lvl thru questing our mains then they introduce LFD with ulduar that’d be fine. Wotlk had LFD for an entire year of its life cycle and these are fast forwarded content cycles compared to its original so it should be in very early.

Tbc and vanilla nobody was really complaining it wasn’t there because it wasn’t in those xpacs, but people remember LFD as a wrath system and have been waiting to use it. Lots of people skipped TBC entirely to wait for the conveniences wrath introduces (LFD, dualspec, 10 man raiding etc) and to remove the rug from underneath what people have been looking forward to with wrath is only going to lose players, a lot of them.
