Wraithon is a boring character

Ironically I used to like wraithon but I think he is a boring character. He’s very cliche too

He was cool in pandaria. BfA kind of ruined him for me personally

He just feels like the cliche I am the enlightened version of father was a villain

That’s true. He kinda does, thinking about it

My lore essays are garbage XD. I need to start writing more

You’ll get better with time hun :grinning:

I like him a lot. He wants to be a Xanatos-type schemer but he doesn’t think far enough ahead and his anger issues get the better of him. I think that’s a clever take on the mastermind type character.

He’s also like the only character in BfA who still resembled their old personality instead of being rewritten completely.

I liked him initially, but he’s fallen off for me a bit. Hopeful for what they do with him in dragonflight though.

Eh… didn’t play MoP when it was current so I have no strong opinions on him, really. I think he hate potential, but we really need to see where he goes. The Legion has been defeated, the last Old God to threaten Azeroth has been dealt with… what does he do now?

I never liked Wrathion. I thought he was kind of a jerk in Cata, with the Rogue quest. He just didnt leave any good feelings.

I didnt really like him any more or less in MoP. I did sort of lose any good faith I had in him when he helped WoD happen.

In BfA, he came back with a bit of a make over. He is looking good. Sort of Arabic/Persian or something. At least he is an adult now, so the more disgusting jokes can die off.

He is not very interesting to me. I do not mind him as a rogue agent with his own agenda. His Anduin/Alliance bias is less consequential that way. But as the leader of the flight? Bleh.

He fills the charming rogue archetype well enough. It’ surprisingly absent from the other big name characters in WoW. He just needs new motivation.

His original concern about the legion was handled, and his search for the Dragon Isles is about to be concluded. We’ll just need to see if that means he retires to a life of hereditary authority within the black dragonflight, runs off with Anduin, or circles back to getting involved in the whole “is our planet actually a person?” fiasco.

I hope he doesn’t become the next aspect of the black dragonflight. His actions have caused much destruction as someone who would be one of Azeroth’s defenders.

My biggest advice for Wrathion is to stop helping.

I don’t like him cause he’s basically or literally a toddler that thinks he knows better, but you can never send him to his room until he’s ready to behave.

While you’re right, cliches can be popular. Just look at Illidan; he’s the video game equivalent of a 90’s comic anti-hero, and yet somehow one of WoW’s most popular characters.

Agreed. Small wonder he gets along swimmingly with Anduin.
