I just watched the lion king and I loved it!
Morgan Freeman Voice narrating over:
âLater, Greyah would admit this is the point when they should have let the Lion King thing die, as it was the beginning of a long opus of tragedy and horror that couldnât be killed through normal thread derailing methodology. It was, simply, what most people on the WrA Forums liked to refer to as, a âbad moveâ.â
I donât think so. At this point, others bring it up more than I do. So whoâs really to blame, Karmas?
I donât like the direction this inquiry is going.
I get stopped all the time. Iâll be daily questing in Uldum and someone will say in general: âlook! Itâs lion king orc! Hahaha! Say it, do it come on!â The chorus of echoes of the sentiment continues. As if the humming drone of aqir are singing âsay it, do it, say it!â Until I appease them. With one simple phrase:
âHave you seen the Lion King?â
They erupt in applause. But I am not proud. I do not feel joy. I am empty insideâŚ
You almost had me but for two things:
-
You are probably the only one in Uldum.
-
No one that plays the game reads the forums!
-
Extra reason with extra meaningful context â it probably even has charts(placeholder)
Believe what you will, but taking my experience and making it something it isnât or making isnât what it is is gaslighting.

retreats to the darkness from whence they came
what do you think theyâll remake next, Greyah
Several films are on the docket for remakes and in varying steps of production. Iâd like to see Treasure Planet remade tho
Iâll make sure to bring up the Lion King when I see you in Uldum next time Greyah, donât you worry.
Curses, Altielle!
I donât believe you!

In middle school I made sure I memorized Be Prepared and almost thought of making Gotoshâs voice close to Mufasaâs. But i went back on that⌠Gotoshâs voice is hard to reference.
NO.
What is wrong with you?!
Did you not see the last few remakes? Why would you wish such horror on Treasure Planet? Itâs perfect the way it is! Leave my baby alone!
Treasure Planet is a cinematic treasure ![]()
While I certainly understand the hesitation of remaking Disney movies because theyâre bad, I donât understand the staunch opposition to them. They donât take away anything from the original animated films and if anything help to world build and give characters more depth even if itâs not exactly what you had imagined.
Iâmma be real witchu Orcmama,
I have never seen a Disney remake and been like, âYeah we needed this, this helps expand upon the characters, this was a good ideaâ.
I guess thatâs where differing opinions come into play. If your opinion is that theyâre bad and unnecessary could you just ignore it and not watch them instead of taking it away from someone who might genuinely enjoy and find value in them? It is harmless to let people enjoy things and ignore them if you do not.
While I donât disagree with that point, I would like to address the fact that a remake undoubtedly will distort the original if a person was, perhaps, too young to watch the original when it came out, and only came to know the remake.
Iâll also say that this can be good or bad - the animated Lord of the Rings movies, for example, while excellent pieces of animation, were ultimately terrible adaptations. The franchise most people know, however, is a masterpiece of cinema that helped outsiders understand the legacy of one of the greatest fantasy authors of all time.
But I mean, if itâs a bad remake, then it would work the opposite. Like, Ghostbusters 2016. I know some Gen Z adults that donât have a lick of interest in the original 'cuz they didnât like the remake.
