All right folks, it’s better I pull off the band aid now than later. There hasn’t been much activity in the last months, no new applications for officers and our current officer core is really inactive as well.
This is not the first time this happens in the history of this guild and likely not the last, but given how low interest is in the community we’ve officially entered a hiatus mode, and won’t be actively recruiting anymore.
Sad to hear about the inactivity. Never a good feeling for a guild master, especially when we ourselves are passionate about the guild, the content, and just love being with our guild members.
I commend you on the decision to take a break for yourself. I made the same call a few years back after killing myself to plan events that one or two people showed up, or no one at all. It was so deflating, I needed to take a break, stop planning, and letting myself be a participant of the game instead of bearing the weight of it all.
Take a break, focus on you. You’ve earned it.
Things will pick back up, and with a rested mind, you’ll have a clearer vision of what you want the guild to be.
