WQs made LFR pointless, but now it's making Normal

It’s the same for heroic.

I didn’t even try to redo heroic BoD for the last 5 weeks. Pointless.

I got my AOTC for COS last night. (On this note, are servers SOOO empty that at about 10pm EST there were only 4 heroic groups for COS ?). Killed unrat in full PuG and then went back to kill Cabal for loot (Ty Limit to carry me here, surprised you guys take pugs sometimes)

I think I’ll do CoS for the next 2-3 weeks then Blizzard will again bump up WQ…

Except for personal challange, there is no reason to do any raid above LFR (Well, except Mythic)

Because it’s hard to create a group sometimes, that’s my point. So when they instead try to join others’ groups and get rejected, it’s frustrating.

Yes. Few people seem to want to run M0 these days and waiting for that vaunted tank/healer does take a while. Especially when you put in a caveat like “gotta clear the whole instance” because that is how the engineering mount is made.

I’ve been running ML 0 every week but it’s always a frustrating chore that I’m just glad to have done after it’s over.

The “relative power” as you put it is there primarily because of skill.

You could be in full 420 loot right now and I’d still outperform you because I’m better. What do you propose Blizzard is going to do about that?

I have no problems with disparities based on skill levels. Why would I? If you want to take the game super serious that’s your prerogative. You don’t also need arbitrary handicaps in the form of massive ilvl inflation over the average player too. I mean, why do you need any ilvl disparity at all? You’re so godlike you can probably do Mythic Jaina in normal mode loot right? Oh wait, you can’t. That’s just you beating your chest competitively about how awesome you are when no one cares. It’s still not a justification to give you special loot. Sorry

Blizzard is never going to do anything about skill. They never will. There is no way to measure it. Plus, with 420 gear I would out perform you.

Wait, so you said that and you were being sarcastic, so your point was that you weren’t more respectful? Cool, then we agree. As an aside, if sarcasm is missed in text it’s generally the fault of the person writing, not the person reading. Tone in text isn’t apparent, it needs to be inferred in some way. The engineering mount this expansion is crafted from parts you can only engineer off of dead mechs in ML 0, and only ML 0.

So basically you have to go in with a group that will clear the whole instance, especially at the beginning. You have to make it clear that the mech jockeys cannot be interrupted and that they are allowed to activate their mechs, so they can die and you can engineer them.

Not always an easy sell these days.

I agree those same people say: You only deserve to have gear 30 item levels below mine.

At the same exact time they also state: I don’t care about other people’s item levels are and I don’t want to take gear away from those who don’t raid or do the same content I do.

Just an FYI you can get those parts from killing the last boss of ML on any difficulty now, as long as you’re wearing the helm when you loot.

Its usually the LFR hero that say this, or the famous “If you do X for loot, you’re playing the game wrong”, yet here they are arguing about ilvl for WQ.
