Unable to complete this world quest. The veilwing sentry vehicle can be entered, but the projectile explodes immediately after launching it (instead of on hit), rendering it impossible to actually kill any targets. Restarting game, doing it without any pets active, changing which sentry was being used all produced the same buggy result.

Similar issue. Unable to complete the Swarm Defense world quest in Ardenweald. I am able to enter the vehicle and fire projectiles, however, although they appear to be travelling normally to the bugs they are failing to register any hits. The quest did register that I had entered the vehicle. Later I exited the vehicle and found a high point from which, as mage, I was able to range hit and kill a few bugs which did register towards the quest.

Same problem here, rebooted pc, restarted game and tried 2 characters. Shots seem to explode right away unless firing level.
Novemener 4th 2021-Quest still bugged.
Same issue as above. Vehicle entry registered, however the shots following none register.
I fired for vehicle for about 10 minutes and have received zero registered hits.
Quest unable to be completed.

Ditto. I tried disabling all add ons, but to no avail.
Bug still active.
Nature of Bug: Invisible walls in front and around drakes
Workaround:
- Mount Leftmost Drake
- Aim at tree in distance
- Target top of trunk, lower branches
NOTE:
This is the gap between the front, top and side invisible walls.
Timing is still critical, but you should complete this in less than 2 min
Hope this helps everyone until they fix their coding error.

Blizzard this world quest has been bugged for at least a couple of weeks now! Fix it!

- Go to the lefthand drake
- Aim at the tree from the trunk to just below the canopy
- Fire missiles at flying gorm when the enter the crosshairs
Takes longer, but it is doable. Hopefully, they fix this soon. Happy hunting.

Swarm Defense is completable.
Jump on left-most drake.
Aim for the top-middle glowing wild-seed on the largest tree.
Have God-mode level patience and kill the respawns.

was able to finally complete this quest today …aim at the tree straight ahead instead to get points, can not kill any of the flying swarmlings
