if your ilvl is 370+ but pvp is 435+ how does that work in world? if you are in combat with a mob/npc your ilvl is 370 but if you get into wpvp combat your ilvl scales to pvp ilvl automatically?

yes you scale up to pvp ilvl while in combat with another player even if you’re fighting a pve mob
