Wowiki has been outdated for years,Wowpedia was always the more accurate of the two IMO.

Not all, but WoWWiki was notorious for outdated articles, or articles that had been editing to be wrong. There were even some pages people had made that were made up stuff entirely.

Wowpedia originally sprung up because of the major Wikia redesign that negatively impacted WoWWiki; Wikia’s ad policy at the time was also allowing malicious ads to be presented on wiki pages for WoW which was another uncool thing. I’ve been using Wowpedia pretty much since its inception.
