I have no idea if I’m allowed to even ask this on the forums, and if I’m not, go ahead and delete this (and sorry in advance).

I’ve been thinking a lot about Shadowlands and just how different WoW is in comparison to 10 years ago. I was really young when I first started playing WoW, and my brother introduced me to it (and on a private server, might I add). Once Blizzard sued the woman who ran the server, it was pretty much shut down. I lost contact with a lot of friends I’ve never found since.

So, my question is, did you ever play on WoWscape? If so, what was your character’s name?

This is a stab in the dark but I’m willing to try.

Man I miss that server, I had a FD BE Warlock called Nakedave.

WoWScape was also the first place I played WoW.

F*** those were some great times

Oh good times! I had a char in wowscape and then Marcelo ( was the name of one of the GMs) founded the Magicwow server.

Played in the Dark Legion horde guild with a few names like Soulreaver, Bulldozer, Tristam…Miss these guys!!

My buddy ran a decently popular server for a while and the dudes from WoWScape basically threatened his life if he didn’t shut it down.

They were like the private server mafia lmao
