It was never great but there were a few standout failures for me
Cata- mostly good but the lava tentacle monster was stupid
Mists-I actually didn’t mind this expansion. The goofy esthetic was kind of fun.
Wod- time traveling orcs is ridiculous and blizzard should be embarrassed
Legion- mostly good but mortals shooting a world soul with a space ship was so shockingly stupid. Even for blizzard.
BFA- overall not awful but all the systems and extraneous BS is what really hurt this expansion.
SL- complete failure top to bottom. Some of the art was OK.
