I can’t speak for the runes being placed where they are but back in vanilla it was kinda the case as far as gear, later on we’ll get our fair share of gear we’ll just have to wait on those phases to hit.

After this phase it wont really matter, since it’s all contested zones going forward.

It’s so great there are zero axes in this raid.

It sure is!

Wailing Caverns is Alliance? Stonetalon? Tarren Mill? Ratchet?

Yep! I just got the Deviate Delight recipe in The Barrens.

Oh, and Venomstrike!

I was hoping to discover my Hunter’s runes naturally as I went but when I heard so many were in Horde territory I gave up and had to just google…

I did something better: I got my runes even though they were in Horde territory. Why can’t you do the same?

Same…

Oh, which ones? I probably need those, too.

ive got them all lil pup, just that you guys have an advantage atm
and alliance players are kaka heads

Kill Command is obtained by doing a new NPC’s quest by Ziz Fizzik’s hut in Stonetalon which involves going to Wailing Caverns. (And I was about as likely to do these quests as I was to go to Ratchet and look for the Cat’s Eye Emerald…)

Lone Wolf is of course from the very expensive Ratchet collection (but I was never going to speak to that NPC ever, much less spend significant time in Ratchet to discover his dialogue option that revealed the quests).

Cobra Strikes has some fishing and bait stuff just south of Tarren Mill (but still like, so close I’d get ganked), and while Hillsbrad may look uni-faction, contrary to Horde’s early excursions there Alliance does not level there until level 30 (so I’d have never gone there), and they generally give a wide berth around Tarren Mill.

Im actually one of those horde players who loves more reasons to make raids on alliance places, so this is a plus for me

Wait, you’re forgetting the 2H axe that, instead of having useful stats, is loaded with spirit

Oh OK… I’ll probably get to doing this one now. I just finished up a WC run, and was going to try to grind out some Perfect Deviate Scales so I could craft the belt. Maybe get this started beforehand.

Absolutely get it started beforehand, you have to get the quest item off Mutanus.
