  • Known as Raider IO. Now I know some of you love this feature and will defend it until the day you finish highschool and some of you outright hate it because of reasons we won’t discuss here, but these small squabbles are not part of the bigger picture.

What is the bigger picture falls on ethics

I However see this as an emerging disturbing trend of Social gaming communism on a global scale. Yes it has its pros and yes it definitely has its Cons, but is it really a good idea to be using and relying on a third party to monitor you, your kids or your wifes playing habits?

they know how much you play/run. Where anyone , anywhere at any time can look up information about you and judge whether or not you’re worthy of being given a chance to do… Well, anything.

this topic could go on forever with details and comparisons both Big and small…it is however simply a nudge to look at the bigger picture and see monitoring systems like this IO can be a big issue if left to its own devices from both perspectives

I know China’s SCS is screwed up but aren’t you over analyzing this ?
I see where your drawing your conclusions from , but not getting into a 15+ is a little far off from not being allowed to shop at a certain store for food or get a mortage or ride the train.

this analysis of raider. io would hold more water if it was straight from blizzard which is known to have heavy chinese influence.

however, it is an independent endeavor, so there is no ulterior motives to push any agenda.
