I feel like things feel pretty decent this season and thats coming from an enh shaman. Theres still more tuning to do, and as long as they stay on top of tuning it’ll be good.
The issue they run into often is trying to do “trickle tuning” which is small adjustments per week so nothing gets hit too hard, its usually better to deal with an overperforming spec slowly, however they end up not tuning during AWC and we just sit with whatever is really strong that got tuned slowly.
They just need to stay on top of tuning, don’t expect things to immediately get fixed, they dont want to have a spec go from really good to awful. Hopefully they stick with tuning things during the AWC this time around.
My main issues are classes that are doing just absurd sustain and burst dmg.
As well as range classes able to do crazy damage while constantly moving or sprinting.
I don’t care if a class that is range and does a cast can do big dmg with said cast thats fine, but to never be able to touch said class while they do big dmg is just bad design.
The problem is you have devs tuning classes they know nothing about and they dont even pvp. They take zero advice from the community and this is what you get.
Deffinitley a skill issue my friend. Each ranged class has ways to create distance. Each melee class has ways to close the gap. Its as easy as counting unless its an arcane mage (they said they fixed that in this patch. Yes hunters chunk, run with a partner who has disarm.
