What? There’s probably the most good casual content right now than there’s ever been. Legion had a lot and Dragonflight has more than Legion. I know, I’m the Goddess of Casual.

People tried to warn the community & the developers back in BFA and again more fervently in Shadowlands → that if Blizz kept going in the path they were going that FFXIV was gonna overtake them, and people on these very same forums called them all sorts of names & laughed at them … Yet here we are.

I ask again - what is the criteria of the source the OP used, or indeed the source at all. I could just as easily assume its because Final Fantasy was voted prettiest.

I just came back from a three month break and WoW seems even more dead. And the exodus started in BFA not SL. Over the past five years I have put over 5k hours into FFXIV and maybe fifty hours into WoW. I love WoW mainly for the art and the investment I put into it up too MoP, left during WoD, came back for legion. The past two expansions I just come back towards the end when all the catch up mechanics are in. I enjoy dragonflight but the only good thing it has so far is the dragon riding. They screwed up professions after neglecting them for like four expansions. Story is ok, everything else is just medicore.

Well it’s no secret FFXIV is flogging WoW, the news & sources of that came out ages ago.
As for the rest, yeah I’m not sure about those listings.

Guild Wars 2 more popular than WoW
#6 through #13 being more popular than ESO

You didn’t find multiple lists that had this same order, OP.

The only thing truthful on this list is probably FFXiV being #1.
