WoW's Narrative Director Compared Himself to a 6 Year Old Coal Miner?

Oh my.
Maybe earns between 150~230k. Still within the 10% top earners.

Still haven’t denied it.
:dart:

He clearly needs a union… because… reasons.

Stay in school. Please. (And if English isn’t your first language, a thousand apologies. Seriously. I know it’s a ridiculous language with incomprehensible rules that make no sense which is why I’m so thankful I grew up with it.)

How much does a Narrative Designer make in California? As of Mar 13, 2023, the average annual pay for a Narrative Designer in California is $64,844 a year.

You can’t say that and then:

He’s a Lead Narrative Designer.

Low level classic alt, low post count. Yeah, I am sure OP only had the purest intent in creating this topic.

Does that mean those quests where I have to do things for openly gay people is his fault? His narrative?

This is exactly why I don’t like posting here. You have elitists who think you’re only allowed to speak if you have an arbitrary number of posts under your belt. This is the character I was playing last time I played the game ages ago, I haven’t bothered switching to my level 70 characters because who cares? It’s completely irrelevant.

Need at least 8k posts to have that sweet, sweet forum cred.

forum elitists? wow we’re ascending

Omigosh, you can just FEEL this threads staying power! There’s no WAY Blizz will have the nerve to nuke this one!

Steve singlhandedly completely destroyed wow narrative and ruined every single character. He’s really bad at mining coal, using wooden pickaxe probably

I refuse to look up context for this idiotic “controversy” but if it didn’t include the phrase please sir, may I have another? in your best Dickensian tone, it was a wasted opportunity.

Well, somebody’s got to do it. And I can certainly understand why nobody wants to deal with people like OP for free.

We should all be outraged that he has stopped posting quality cute cat photos. Those are good. This is just odd.

This take is so bad.

Missing how awful unregulated free-market capitalism has been historically, killing millions of children, only to shill for that system yet at the same time attacking some one invoking that suffering as metaphor is the biggest Pepehammer take I’ve seen.

I will never understand right wing folks trying to be morally superior. It just doesn’t work.

Firstly I’m not even an American so take your left/right-wing identity politics out of here.

Secondly, how warped is your own sense of perception that you see an equivalence between a grown adult working at a desk job and a 6 year old working in a coal mine in 1910? If you want to argue about the long-term social-economic repercussions of capitalism, then go ahead. But comparing a desk job to a coal mine environment is nonsensical and pretty indicative that you should take some notes from the race that you’re portraying as and eat touch some grass. Especially when that picture represents child labor issues that is still prevalent till today and that things like that should not be made light of.

You don’t get to be the one morally outraged when you’re sitting here defending the conditions that lead to that outcome. If you can’t condemn unregulated free-market capitalism you forfeit the right to pretend to be mad when images of the system you glorify are used against you.

Ah yes, let me be outraged while I eat a cookie at my desk. Clown energy.
