WoW's most famous voice actors

I often see discussions about the famous voices of WoW. People often quote the Lich King, Illidan or Varian/Thrall, but no one really pays any attention WoW’s most famous voice actors. How many times a day do we hear “Out of range”, “I need to get closer” or “A duck walks into an apothecary and says give me some chap stick and put it on my bill”:stuck_out_tongue:

Does anyone know who these most famous voice actors are, the ones that supplied the original voices for the characters we have become over all these years? I would love to know who these people are, because I think they are just as cool as “A turtle made it to the water”:slight_smile: I often thought Blizzard should do a reunion special with them all, or a panel at the next Blizzcon. More importantly, the should get them in to record some new jokes! And not hating on the new war mode emotes, but you can tell they aren’t the original voices and it’s jarring.

The only voice thing I know about WoW is that Christopher Lee voiced the Lei Shen boss in Throne of Thunder. Not sure on the old school VO :confused:

I know your intention was to highlight the less prominent roles, but I absolutely love Salli Saffioti as First Arcanist Thalyssra. Her voice is so soothing and mellifluous.

A lot of the original voice actors were the Blizzard employees themselves (Chris Metzen notably voiced a LOT of their games). Some of them have changed over the years (like Jaina’s voice actor), and they’ve also started hiring some known professional performers in recent years.

I really liked hearing Tony Amendola as Khadgar during WoD and Legion :stuck_out_tongue:

With the popularity of Critical Role, I’d say you’ve got a few more famous VA’s from that.

Jennifer Hale who does lots of voices for many games including the famous fem Sheppard from the Mass Effect series does some voices in Warcraft.

Also she is the voice of Ashe in Overwatch and the voice of Leah in Diablo III
She is awesome!!

Alex Desert is his new voice.
The Voices of War panel was fantastic (I love all their voice acting panels though), and there’s a really great surprise at the end.

Any time I hear the voice actor of Lu Bu from the dynasty warriors series I love the character. That’s why I will always love JARRAXUS ILLADARI LORD OF THE THE BURNING LEGION!

Debi Mae West. She’s the voice of Maiev Shadowsong and playable night elf females.
I love her.

As a long time Scott McNeil fan, I was pretty blown away to hear him voicing Durotan in WoD and Hatuun in Legion.

I also loved hearing Peter Cullen as Nazgrel, and Tony Jay as Drek’Thar in the canceled Lord of the Clans game.
