WOW's most annoying sound

Is there any way to just turn off the sound that is coming from the big steam machine next to the engineering trainer in Boralus or can the devs shut it up? It is also unfortunately right next to where they placed the auctioneer and it is the most annoying repetative sound in the game especially since I am parked there for quite a while sometimes.

I can’t just turn the sound off as I need to hear the other sounds such as a player who decided to try and sneak up on me whilst I am out shopping or the plane flying overheaed for the air drops. I understand the need for things like this to make noise as it is a game, but because of the auctioneer placement after the fact I feel that maybe this can be fixed. It would be much appreciated by me and I would think all the others out there who use this auctioneer because it drives me to the brink of iinsanity some days.

I’ve always played with all game sounds muted. Except fishing bobber splashes. Stream music instead. A much better playing experience.

The most annoying sound? The airship sound. It’s also the most welcome sound when I need an air drop, though,.
