The biggest issue that needs addressing is we have several melee classes a plethora of casters & only ONE “ranged weapon class”.
We need another ranged weapon class added to the game, just one at least. For us lovers of guns & bows we shouldn’t be forced into hunter just to use them. Even melee casters has been dabbled into, where’s our ranged casters? A class that uses ranged weapons and spells?
Please look into this and give us something new.
Also customary plug request for Azmerloth expansion with playable murloc allies race that can be any class. Use the murlocs from Azmerloth to justify this beautiful creation.

Well, they are adding a new spec for evokers, maybe they’ll add other specs for other classes, some of which could/should use ranged weapons.

This is acceptable. However most people get angry at the thought of their spec being touched so a new class is ideal. One that doesn’t use pets.
I’m tired of getting new classes. New specs are fine, though.

Yeah I know, which is why I suggested a whole new spec for some existing classes instead of making ranged surv a thing again or turning one of the existing rogue specs into a ranged spec.
I’d enjoy a spec/class that isn’t hunter since I play hunter to have a pet, feels weird to not have a pet.

You would think that any druid, no matter what spec, would have been taught to use a bow.
But I will settle for Marksmanship Druid.

If I wanted to play those games I would. I like wows lore , races, profession systems etc. Why would I move games? This is a genuine problem that needs addressing. We needs more classes that utilise ranged weapons. There are plenty of NPCs in game running around with guns and bows “without” a pet. (Pets not a big issue, however we need a new ranged class that is an issue)
A Divine hunter could be cool. A ranged weapon user that utilised the holy light in plate, maybe has one of the holy void walker alternatives as a pet summon to utilise the holy light. A Divine caster hunter of sorts.
That’s just one idea, literally anything would do though, we just need another ranged weapon user or 2
Noone said for you to go play another game, I’m just pointing out that those templates exist in other games.
Maybe WoW could copy what they did or build on the idea.

As much as I’d like to see one, having a class spec system makes it harder, since most class playstyles has been done by a spec either aesthetically, mechanically, or just wouldn’t fit the WoW theme.
I played MMOs with classes that dual wield chain blades, one with a psychic class that can levitate objects and dead bodies off the ground to hurl it at enemies, and another with a ninja class where their abilities were more of a ranged melee.

I want to play a lightforged space marine. Gnome is a great one for that too.
I don’t even know what a different ranged weapon class would be aside from Marksmanship hunters… Diablo Amazon? Some kind of berserker that only throws axes? Ranger is covered by hunter. Some kind of assassin that is entirely ranged?
Definitely need some class that is entirely mechanized that uses like, missiles, flamethrowers… butt that is sorta what the evoker does.
I agree with adding specs. Not more classes.
The idea that WoW’s biggest problem is the lack of a second ranged weapon class is ridiculous. Seriously.

Seeing as Henry Cavill is both a huge WoW fan and a Warhammer 40k fan this would be great and I’m sure Henry would promote it for blizzard. A ranged lightforged warrior in plate. Uses holy magic and guns. I mean in legion we already seen the medic gun from engineering lol they could expand upon this.
A holy plate ranged warrior with lightspawn summons would be amazing.
They already have lightspawn models thanks to tutorial etc and voidwalker/spirit beast mechanics could be utilised for the abilities of it.

Hunters need a 4th spec where they shoot their allies to slow them down / cause a minor amount of damage so the healthbar tracking fiend healers precast a heal on them before a big damage spike.
It would sort of be like a druid but cooler and more lovely to get right.
I would enjoy binding shot my ally warrior to a pillar against a demo lock.
