There is some nasty malware in ads and wowhead has been indiscriminate for years with regards to them.
I never leave a wowhead page open for long and have Malwarebytes and norton along with my firefox.
And bad ads in general are getting worse and more clever, unfortunately.
Was thinking of switching to this browser.
My main issue with them is that the charge is predatory.
All of important content (the comments) comes to them free from players. And they then say, if you want to not be annoyed and inconvenienced by adverts, pay us money. For the stuff we provide to them.
That doesn’t make me happy, because I like helping other players and I dont much care for them making money of my desire to help.

The other option for the “free” premium version of Wowhead I believe is if you’re using the Wowhead addon that adds info to the site (I don’t know what the minimum you need to do for the Premium to kick in though).
Pros: you help many people by uploading data to the Wowhead database and you get Wowhead Premium
Cons: you have to download the Wowhead addon, which, well motions at Wowhead and this thread
Mozilla w/ Ublock is also a good combo. Also gives me most success with getting around Youtube’s Adblocker-blocker
