For reasons beyond human understanding, WoW and FFXIV have to swap one race for a month.
What WoW race should we send them and what race would we like in exchange?

Having said that, I mean playerhousing in the general sense, not that “in world” housing system that keeps everyone from enjoying a game feature.

Speaking from the inverse perspective… which race from WoW would I want for FFXIV?
Seeing as we already have all varieties of human, probably something different.
I’d say Tauren, but I think they’d have an even worse time with hats than Viera.
As for what to give to WoW?

This is the hardest part of the equation for me.
But what to give to WoW is easily Hrothgar, any other answer is objectively incorrect. Not because I want them out of XIV, but in the interest of an equitable trade, Hrothgar can match aesthetic the easiest.
My choices:
WoW->FFXIV: Worgen
FFXIV->WoW: Hrothgar

I can’t take anyone who likes Charrs seriously. GW1/2 has some of the worst lore I’ve ever had the displeasure of reading. It’s like being forced to read twelve-year-olds’ takes on the Silmarillion on Wattpad.
Totally unrelated, obviously. I just feel this strongly about GW.
They can have (and keep) mechagnomes, and in exchange we get player housing.

Well, the most Snowpine way I can think to describe Charr is as follows.
Think of the most obvious low hanging fruit when you look at them.
