Hi, I just bought the faction change and my main level 80 is under 25k gold cap but it still says I exceed the gold transfer. Not sure why this is happening.

Same here. Level 21 mage not transferring with less than 500 limit.
Same issue here now i prob wasted a ton of gold buying stuff on AH
Have any of you been able to get a resolution to this issue? I’ve been dealing with it also.
2 GMs have now told me the issue has been resolved. It has not. I am under 25k gold on a level 80 and unable to complete faction change. Odd thing is, it let me server transfer without issues at all, and gold cap is supposedly the same for both (25k)…
I was given this message after a 2nd GM reviewed my case:
In this case there does seem to be a known issue with this after the recent changes to the Wrath Classic Faction Changes. That is being looked into and it seems like they have the fix set up but it may not be applied yet. Once that goes through this should clear up on its own and let you finish that up normally.
Hopefully something sooner than later gets done.
Just tested and confirmed myself, cutoff is NOT 25k as listed by Blizzard, but it worked for me at just under 20k gold… Thanks for the inaccurate and unreliable information as always Blizzard
I bought 3 yesterday. First one went through fine, now I am getting the error on my second one only xfering 5k.
It worked for me now, they must have rolled out a hotfix.
