And the GD scrambles to find something wrong with it, or to invalidate it. “ITS RIGGED!!” Their foaming mouths scream, gurgling cries of bots and fake accounts, their addled minds unable to comprehend somebody may actually like the game. Others whisper “It’s just because it’s the last MMO alive.” Yet those same claims will be made by those who voted for Final Fantasy and so on, equally alive and struggling MMOs.
Just face it. PEOPLE, INDIVIDUALS, voted. People like WoW. I like WoW.️And heck it’s probably gonna keep going strong for years.
$0.02 has been deposited into your bnet wallet
This didn’t need another thread OP lol.
Its not rigged when it is nothing more then a marketing gimmick that Blizzard paid for, like many award shows. No ones vote really mattered, if it did it would not allow you to vote multiple times
What is your job at Blizzard? I hear the pay really sucks and employees are forced to hold other jobs just to get by. People are leaving Blizzard in droves is the rumor
Some players admitted in the other massive thread that was going around that they had voted 7 to 8 times for Warcraft by using multiple email accounts in the massive thread that was going around yesterday covering this same subject; Voter fraud is what many people called it.
The system allowed you to vote once per hour on multiple accounts. Its a sham like any other peoples choice award. Its paid for . They just give the ilusion of voting
I’m gonna leave this dumpster fire alone.
Thats the same thing said by the vast majority of players who have quit BFA
but he wants special attention. If he just posted his thoughts in one of the other threads, he wouldn’t feel as special and important.
So, the only MMORPG that people bothered to vote for multiple times was WoW? Sounds like a win to me
I don’t believe it, but even if it were true you’re saying that only the evil WoW players took advantage of this loophole and the upright, honest, outstanding players of the other MMORPG’s would never participate in such a nefarious plot
There’s not really a point in defending myself, as I’ll be torn down anyway, but believe what you will. Am merely an Activision-sponsored player, spewing falsities for their detriment? Or perhaps an attention-starved kid, stirring trouble because I have no way of talking to people otherwise.
Or perhaps I like making dramatic forum posts that paint our toxic little community as lovecraftian horrors. Take your pick, you unfathomable, mewling terrors of the forgotten deep.
Or some of us went “hm. Not deserved, but okay big whup” and went on with life. Someone did say people could vote more than once which sounds utterly insane, but I doubt this award is that big of a deal at the end of the day.
The question is why do you want to make people who weren’t even on the list feel like they lost? Like I said: move on.
Nobody that enjoys playing their game of choice lost. So long as you’re having fun you are winner. It is amusing the lengths that some posters will go in trying to tear down the achievement because they personally are not happy with the state of the game. There is nothing wrong with being happy your game of choice won an award.
P.S. Even if you could vote more than once, I only voted once, that was true for all games, so a level playing field.
I’m not having fun and I’m not pleased with the company, but I’m here still so I guess I can’t complain that much or I would be the fool.
Also according to a MVP that posted on the other forum Warcraft didn’t have much competition for it’s category ESO and FFIV weren’t even on the list as being competitors; I myself didn’t even care to watch it nor did I vote but you can view the MVP’s post in the below link:
Weren’t they? I could’ve sworn I remember people saying they voted for those.
edit: wow that’s weird…that listing seems entirely different from what I remember seeing…
I didn’t even care tbh I’m just relaying what a MVP posted on the other thread.
Please don’t cherry pick my posts without reading further on in the thread
Because had if you looked further on in that thread you will have seen that I admitted I was wrong
