As soon as Microsoft bought this place the first thing they asked was “how can we get this on Xbox”. Let’s be honest they probably asked that before the purchase even finalized. The push to get rid of “required” addons, the one-button assist (great for controllers yeah?) the writing’s on the wall.
It’s not a bad thing though, to have a bunch of fresh new xbox kiddies jumping into the game, using their 0 addons and their one-button controller rotations.
I know a lot of people are frightened of having a bunch of bad players screwing up their keys and raids and whatnot, but consider this: do you realize how easy it will be to gold-parse and get M+ titles and gladiator mounts if the population grows by a thousandfold and they’re all really really bad? It’ll be super easy.
As a fairly mid-tier player I personally cannot wait to be catapulted to the heights of glory without having to actually improve. Bring on the console port!
