That’s not Sonic’s girlfriend.
That’s Sonic’s jewel thief / secret government spy friend.
Her name is Rouge the Bat.
She is locked in a perpetual state of “will they won’t they” with Sonic’s friend Knuckles the Echidna, whose sole purpose in life is to protect a big jewel.
The Sonic Fandom loves Rouge the Bat for a couple of reasons

Always dug the Carnival BGM. Has some nice hits and drops and seemingly chaotic when things don’t go your way lol.

I personally would choose Amy Rose from Prime. Both, Throne Rose and Black Rose (She makes multiple references to Anne Bonny and Mary Read.)

There’s something that just looks off about the WoW love set. Like it just doesn’t really fit or something. Maybe it’s just too busy. IDK, something just doesn’t look right about it to me but I can’t quite put my finger on what.
