World of Warcraft Virtual Reality - it could happen. Microsoft is invested in VR. Just sayin

If you have an Oculus Quest 2 get the Virtual Desktop App. Play any PC game in VR. It let’s you control your computer with the headset.

I used to think no, but after playing RE4 remake in VR, it can be ok with spotty graphics still

I thought I read in one of the news posts that the whole metaverse thing kind of pushed along Microsoft’s interest in buying the IP’s.

Just like Meta is buying up other IP’s.

Would be fantastic tbh. Motion activated skills. Talk about a way to revive the game. VR servers. Honor rankers would get ripped.

I would love to be able to take a stroll through my beloved Orgrimmar. Or walk along the banks of Southfury River.

As someone who gets terrible motion sickness playing most VR games, I’d be jealous of people who can play it in VR…

One heroic leap through the 3rd story window would be what finally killed WoW for me.

That is unfortunate. Mine went away after a while.

Did it work? How was it?

Everyone better cover their butts… never know who’s gonna do a double handed thrusting mortal strike behind you.

We’re already living in a virtual reality, didnt ya hear? In all honesty, every game will be VR when the technology catches up.

I tried playing WoW the Oculus 2, without the Virtual Desktop app. It looked like the 2D version on a giant curved screen. Virtual screen was too close to be of any use. Nothing 3D about it.

I even went into game settings to see if I could increase the field of view. Already at 90°, I couldn’t increase it.

The 2D version is playable on the VR headset, but not (at least yet) in the expected 3D VR immersive world. Which may be for the best. The unit quickly becomes heavy, and the battery doesn’t last nearly long enough for raids, or a day of gaming.

yea… not what theyre asking for lol
