Wow UI showing quests none to take, old quests missing , flight forms not working

Massive…and i mean massive issues with that game right now.

• HUGE LAG SPIKES (my internet and winmtr logs are fine!)
• Quests not registering or not completing
• Quests still showing up on map.
• Flight forms not working…I’m flying around in humanoid form.
• Quests not removing from the map
• Frequent disconnects at random intervals?

You have some serious issues blizzard. Instead of phoning in your “maintenance” windows. How about you actually fix the damn game. It’s been broken for weeks now. You can’t blame this on load performance issues because all the servers are dead. Why would anyone come back to the game I love when they have zero customer support and communication what so ever.

Your apathy towards the general paying customers saddens me to no end. How far you have fallen. Before you even start with me Blizzard.

I have:

• Rebooted and power cycled my router.
• I have reboot my PC several times.
• I have removed all my addons
• I have re-installed the game completely and removed it from my hard drive.
• I have patched or updated the game via the “repair and patch” feature under options.
• Logged onto alternate characters
• Logged into alternate realms
• Logged into alternate realms and characters on alternate factions
• Conducted WINMTR logs and parsed my findings
• Updated my video, sound and motherboard drivers

I have played other games online and guess what? NO LAG no issues.

We’ve seen a few reports of issues like this and in many cases its due to a corrupt setting. Please try going through the steps below!

1. Run these commands in-game in chat to disable server side syncs then log out:
   /console synchronizeConfig 0
   /console synchronizeSettings 0
2. Delete your character folder:
   World of Warcraft_retail_\WTF\Account{Account ID}{Realm}{Character Name}
3. Log back in and the issue should be resolved. If so you can re-enable the server side syncs:
   /console synchronizeConfig 1
   /console synchronizeSettings 1

Could you try this for the quests issue please.

It is not just one or two, almost everyone I have spoken to is having the same sorts of issues. And I am not going go fiddling with resetting anything because that whole thing makes me very nervous.

I’d really rather they fix whatever it is that is causing this, and if something is corrupting something, maybe fix that as well.

I have tried the fix above and it has worked for me tonight. Lets see how it goes tomorrow.

I have had to use it multiple times since but it has cleared things up temporarily each time it seems.

Make sure you contact Support and give them this information. Hopefully it gives them a clue on how to fix the whole issue.
