They really should from a business perspective, especially considering they aren’t catching/banning the absurd amount of players buying gold from 3rd party sites.
I’m able to sell mid blues and greens for 80-200g a pop, and considering how soon those items are going to be replaced, you know it’s because people have tons of bought gold.
There are also more strat boosts going on now than ever before, understandably, but the going rate rn is 200g/5 runs which I’d bet my life is due to gold buying.
No way the vast majority is buying all this stuff with legitimately acquired gold, just no way.
Blizzard might as well get their slice of the extra $$$ by adding the wow token, especially since the expansion is being released in LFR mode anyway and will already be a joke.

def not… token is one thing that would end classic completely for almost everyone. that is one of the major reasons many people quit in original in large numbers
dungeon boosting is bannable now since jan 13th on anniversary. just report them.

All the token will change, is the fact that legit players will actually have a fighting chance at the economy. Right now, farming is overrun by bots, and gold sellers and buyers own the market of every damn thing.
Add the token, and the legit players have a fighting chance to participate. Legit players have money, they just don’t want to take the chance at account closure.
Classic was over as soon as they added Cataclysm, sounds to me like you’re behind the 8-ball.

i literally dont have any issue farming anything. my alchemist has loads of herbs becuase my alts majority of them have herbilism, my blacksmith has loads of ore becuase my alts most of them have mining, my engineer and other chars proffessions same, so its a you problem..
best part is, i dont even have to bother only farming, i just grab stuff as i spot it while i do other stuff
only char i have a boost on is one i got from the bundle for my pally and thats the 9th char
i’ve played this game since dec 2004, i picked up this habit of leveling all classes and all proffessions in original wotlk, its proven well on making gold pretty easily

Live on my own land in my own home and still work 40 hrs a week. Rested xp goes far. I rotate my chars and use or did use altoholic till tbc broke it, waiting on it to get updated. My chars are 43, 45, 46, 48, 49, 50, 51, 57, 58. I returned 4 months ago and started these charactors. I quit in 2022 becuase i had to pick up.more jobs to deal with rising prices
