WOW token inbound?

Blizzard added WOW token into the Taiwan shop recently, proving it can be added to any classic version.

I hope they add it to US and EU soon. WOTLK needs the WOW token.

Well wow token = end of classic for sure.

Blizzard already sells gold through third party websites. Most the top sellers on g2g are actually Blizzard.

they need it to buy game time . not the same case here

they do things over there much different then here. Highly unlikely.

Probably not.

They recently shut down Chinas servers and from what I’ve gathered they just switched to the Taiwan servers.

They just moved the market to where their customers went.

What makes you think the OP isn’t going to use it for game time?

Sure if he is from Taiwan

In all seriousness. Does anyone actually use those tokens for game time outside of Asia? Or do they just end up paying for gold farming bots subs.

Most the people I know buy them to sell them for gold.

Something tells me that in NA/EU the tokens end up in a endless loop like the “gold selling” South Park episode

Probably why we don’t have them in the states.

You chose the red pill.

yes they are used.

they are are used for…

conversion to store money/credit. Many people do not pay for the new expac deals. they…convert gold to token to store credit and buy it.

Or they buy the store mounts. gold made in game, convert it to store credit, buy mount.

If allowed at this point I’d gather more thana few D4 players paid for that with token to blizzard store credit. usually its universal so I am guessing D4 can be bought like this.

Since I have around 2 million retail gold that rots I actually need to look at that option lol. not like i will use it with current feelings about DF.

That’s great news for you, you will finally be able to buy an Ulduar carry.

Wait? You can use a token to get store credit. And you can buy anything from the store? Even physical product?

Yep.

the exhange rate is not great. I’d not farm 10’s of hours for it.

but if one has lots of retail gold that rots some go what the hell…lets do this.

Interesting. Definitely not worth the time, but since it functions like a currency and has a stable exchange rate, I wonder where this falls under all that BSA anti money laundering stuff. Probably not enough wow gold in circulation to draw attention.

Funny. But :man_shrugging:.

I didn’t know that blizzard actually completed the cycle.
