Arena Solo Shuffle queue.
I was disconnected when entering the arena, as healer. Logged back into account within 1 min, received a 2h deserter debuff ‘no show’… ?
Please fix. Thanks, sincerely one of the only healers remaining queueing shuffles.
Unfortunately nobody on the forums can help with this as it is GMs who would deal with in-game player problems. Also, I don’t think that’s something they would do in the first place, even in the unfortunate event of a disconnect, as the system is technically working as intended. And by the time you got a ticket response, the debuff would have likely already went away.

What do you expect customer support to do? They can’t fix any disconnection issues for you, and they didn’t make the development decisions.
You’re only course of action is waiting the 2 hours.

I don’t think there is anything they can do. The game has no way to know WHY you disconnected. Internet glitch, power out, pulled the internet cable, alt-F4, etc. The game treats all DCs for any reason the same way.

After feedback from players that wanted to penalise leavers, for any reason, Blizzard added more stringent penalties. This includes unfortunately leaving unintentionally as you’ve noticed.
If you’ve feedback about this mechanic it is best to add through one of the many non-support forums like Arenas etc.
Some have suggested to add a reconnect button and then only give a minor penalty instead of the major ones as long as you connect back succesful and play the remaining rounds.
