It’s wonderful that the WoW team is expressing their support for the vast majority of the fan base. Representation goes a long way for making the game a better experience for all.
Celebrating our rich diversity is the type of community engagement we need more of, and content like this makes me hopeful about future content.
I suggest creating more community driven micro-holidays centered around Pride. It can be similar to The Great Gnomeregan Run, but instead we get a parade with some fun music, a color show, dancing, drinking, and nothing but love.
What kind event would you like to see that celebrates the fan base?
It’s a nice picture, but I hope they continue to implement stories with LGBTQ+ characters and actually push for more major lore characters to be diverse instead of just some one off quest giver who wants me to find flowers for his husband.
